The letter is reporting that Ameer Fysul [Amīr Fayṣul], the Wahabee [Wahabi] Chief, has indicated his concurrence respecting the reconciliation between Shaikh Mahomed bin Khuleefah [Muḥammed bin Khalīfah Āl Khalīfah], Chief of Bahrein [Bahrain], and Shaikh Mahomed bin Abdullah; though it notes he still considers Bahrein to be a dependency. It also briefly discusses the nature of the tribute paid by Bahrein to the Wahabee ruler.
