The letter is an acknowledgement of receipt of Kemball’s letter (folio 372) relating to the retrieval of ten slaves from Charrack [Bandar-e Chārak] and the collection of a fine from Shaikh Hassan of that place. Anderson writes that the Governor in Council approves of Kemball’s proceedings.
