Content

The letter is related to previous correspondence between Kemball and Anderson over explanations of the contrasting successes of the suppression of the slave trade on the Persian and Arab coasts. Disbrowe writes that he has passed on to Meerza Mahmood Khan, the Persian Slave Trade Commissioner, the Government’s satisfaction at his efforts against the slave trade, but that he has not as yet made a suitable present to the Commissioner, as recommended by Government.
