The letter is explaining why a sum of 16908-0-30 rupees Indian silver coin also widely used in the Persian Gulf. was credited to the account of the late Mahomed Nebbee Khan [Muḥammad Nabī Khān]. The explanation relates to the settlement of his estate.
Evidence from the content of the letter and the surrounding correspondence suggests that the date is likely to be incorrect. The date should probably be 10 November 1822.
