The letter is informing Mr Farish that all the public servants at the Bushire Establishment wish to become subscribers to the Native Pension Fund, and that none have previously turned down an opportunity to join. It further requests information on whether agents at stations subordinate to the Bushire Residency An office of the East India Company and, later, of the British Raj, established in the provinces and regions considered part of, or under the influence of, British India. should be considered eligible for the fund.
