The letter is informing the Governor of Bombay that the Resident has granted three sets of bills (No. 8-10) in favour of Aga Mohomed Shoostry; Messres Arrathoon and Arrakeel Constantine; and Messrs Ritchie Stewart & Company, in order to meet the disbursements of the Bushire Residency An office of the East India Company and, later, of the British Raj, established in the provinces and regions considered part of, or under the influence of, British India. .
