The letter is forwarding a representation made by Shaikh Mohomed been Khazeeb of Linga [Bandar-e-Lengeh] to the Resident, dated 16 April 1825, which is requesting recompense for the loss of property; the Shaikh claims that a batilla (a small sea going vessel) belonging to him was raided by people from Duaika after it was washed ashore by a storm.
