The letter is informing the Senior Marine Officer that it is the Resident's intention to be absent from Bushire from July to October 1825, and he plans on making a trip to the Arabian coast on his return. The letter therefore requests that the Elphinstone is dispatched to Bushire in time to covey the Resident on his tour.
