terminate the concessions, it would seem to place into the
hands of H.M. Government an undue legal power which the Company
believes it is not the intention of H.M. Government to acquire.
The Company wishes to uphold the position of the Government in
Bahrain and assuming that H.M. Government desire to retain the
Clause, it is suggested it should be altered to express the
undertaking of the Company at all times to pay all proper
deference due to the prestige of the Sheikh and to the advice
of the
