Letter regarding Pelly's return to Bushire and updating him on the situation at Muscat including that Fysul [Faisal bin Turki] had taken losses in Zalala [Şalālah] and had since joined Syud Azan [Azzan bin Qais]; Syud Turkee [Turki bin Said] being at Wadi A seasonal or intermittent watercourse, or the valley in which it flows. with a force of 400-500; rumours that Syud Azan's plan is to take Jabreen fort; and Syud Turkee's indecision whether to move by Bereymee [Al Buraymī] or by the coast, as it is rumoured Sheikh Zaid [Shaikh Sa'id bin Khalifa] is at Bereymee and Syud Azan is gaining strength on the coast, which may result in him instead going to Ras-ool-Khyma [Ra's al Khaymah] or Debay [Dubai].
