Within the correspondence are various draft and signed oil concessions documents, including a signed copy of the oil concession agreement in Arabic and English between Shaikh Ḥamad and Major Frank Holmes of Eastern and Syndicate Limited, dated 2 December 1925 (ff. 281-299).

Towards the end of the file there is correspondence concerning a dispute between Major Frank Holmes and Khalīl bin Ibrāhīm Kanoo relating to the rights for boring water wells in Bahrain vis-à-vis the 1925 oil concession agreement.
