Letter regarding the confirmation from the Wahabee [Wahhabi] capital (Riyadh) that Ameer Faysul ibn Torkee [Amir Faisul ibn Turki] had died and the likelihood that some months had passed since his death. The possible contenders amongst Faysul's sons to succeed him as Ameer [Amir] are discussed along with the likelihood that many people would now desert the Wahabee capital.
The letter goes on to inform the Government of Pelly's intention to travel to the Wahabee ports in order to ascertain further information, and regarding the suggestion that the Egyptians may find this to be an ideal time to deal with their Wahabee fanatics.
