The letter is cover for a shipment of broadcloth and perpets and encloses some remarks on accounts (not present). Also confirms Jervis as Resident at Bushire and directs that all orders and accounts are to go through the Agency An office of the East India Company and, later, of the British Raj, headed by an agent. at Bussorah [Basra].
