Letter regarding Caromandel 's route back to India and informing Frere that it will also tow the Georgiana to Kurachee [Karachi], as well as Pelly's arrangements with regards to Berenice and the detachment of marines stationed at Mussundom [Musandam].
The letter also discusses the assistants that are being sent to Bushire; what Captain Henry W Warner and Mr Edwin Dawes rolls should be; the spcimens which pelly has sent to Sir Roderick Murchison; and the portraits of Persepolis for James Ferguson.
The letter also makes reference to Pelly's interest in the songs of Persia.
