all correspondence for Hcfuf and the neighheurheed
will he collected at Bahrain post office which will
prepare a hag addressed to the Hcfuf post office.
The exchange cf mails between Hcfuf and Bahrain will
he effected under the rules cf the Universal Postal
Union, as Hejaz-Nejd and India are heth parties to
the Universal Postal Union.
(ii) The Hejaz-Nejd Government will arrange at their
own cost for the weekly conveyance cf mails in hoth
directions between Bahrain and Hcfuf sc as to main
tain connection with the British Indian Steam Navi
gation Company*s subsidiary mail steamers.
(iii) The trahsit charges payable to India by the
Hejaz-Nejd Government will he governed by the pro
visions cf Article 73 section 5 cf the Universal
Postal Convention, London, viz., five centimes per
article, irrespective cf weight or destination ex
cept that no transit charges would he payable in res
pect cf articles addressed to India dnd the Indian
post Offices in the Gulf.
