In continuation of correspondence resting with my
telegram No.311 dated the 27th August 1940 on the subject
of wireless telephony.
2. I am further informed by the Manager of California
Arabian Standard Oil Company that the transmissions from
Riyadh are on 36 metres, and at 5.45 a.m. local time. The
transmission to Wusterhausen has the call letters OLE, and
there is another transmission to Koenigs'* (? Koenigshaven)
of which the call letters are not known.

The correspondence includes attempts by the British authorities to ascertain where the transmissions were originating and the possible content of them.
