Captain T. Hickinbotham held charge from the 29th April
1937 to the 20th October 1937. He was relieved by Mr. H. Weight-
man, I.C.S., who held charge of the Bahrain

(i) His Highness Shaikh Sir Hamad bin •Isa al Khalifah,
C.3.I., celebrated the fourth anniversary of his acces
sion to the Rulership of Bahrain in December.
(ii) Shaikh Muhammad bin iix •Isa spent a great part of the
year in Syria and Egypt.
