Copy of the 1934 Agreements between the British Government, the Sheikh of Kuwait and with Kuwait Oil Company is included in the file (ff 3-10). The discovery of oil in Kuwait increased interest from Saudi Arabia over the Neutral Zone, which is subject of correspondence from Petroleum Concessions Limited.
