The file contains monthly statements recording running totals of expenditure (also known as '"E" form statements') for the Political Agency An office of the East India Company and, later, of the British Raj, headed by an agent. Bahrain, together with associated correspondence between the Agency An office of the East India Company and, later, of the British Raj, headed by an agent. and the office of the Accountant-General, Central Revenues, New Delhi (AGCR). The expenditure is divided into pay, allowances, and other charges.

The papers include: monthly "E" form statements for the Political Agency An office of the East India Company and, later, of the British Raj, headed by an agent. Arrangement

The correspondence is arranged in approximate chronological order from the front to the rear of the file and terminates with a set of notes at folios 85-88. Circled reference numbers in ink (red for incoming and dark blue for outgoing correspondence) refer to entries in the notes.
