Dear Sir,
Confirming our verbal conversation of this afternoon
I wish to inform you of the following radio message which was re
ceived at noon today which concerns all of us here in Bahrein.-
‘♦Effective after the departure of the 1430 boat this
afternoon all passengers are cancelled on any boat
Stop This includes staff and non-staff as well ^top
Boats leaving here will maintain the 0800 and 1230
schedules for mail and express freight only Stop ^Boats
will leave Manama carrying only mail and express freight
0800 and 1430 Stop The Cairo and A1 Khobar boats will
interchange Manama and the crews of these boats will
not be allowed ashore in Arabia Stop All passengers
leaving Arabia will have Management approval before de
parture and such passengers may not return to Arabia
Stop Inform local boat owners that water taxis will
not be permitted to land at Company wharf either at^
Alkhobar or Rastanura Stop Inform Gray Mackenzie, nanoo
and others interested of this quarantine which will
particularly operate against the movement of any nature
