Dear Sir,
We acknowledge receipt of your cable of 3rd, inst.
reading as under:-
"ELEASE instruct bank amend margarine ghee instead
GHEE AND SHIPMENT DECEMBER JANUARY INSTEAD
DECEMBER"
As desired in your above cable we have requested our
bankers here to advise by cable the Standard Bank of South
Africa to effect the necessary amendments in the Letter of Credit
and we hope that you have received intimation to this effect.
Please arrange to ship the Margarine Ghee as early as
you can and note to submit to the Bank the Government .Laboratory
Certificate when the documents are presented for payment*
RICE. We had requested you to send us sample of
rice but upto this day we have not received the same* Please
send tne sample when we shall write to you further. Please also
advise us the percentage of impurities and broken of the rice.

The case was heard at the Political Agency An office of the East India Company and, later, of the British Raj, headed by an agent. in Bahrain on 14 and 15 August 1950, and was a financial dispute over payments for a shipment of ghee made by M Suleman Versi to Bahrain.
