The file contains correspondence relating to disruption of Indian and British trade in Persia owing to insecurity. Most of the correspondence consists of representations from Indian and British firms to the British Government asking for protection, and the discussion between the Government of India, Foreign Office, and India Office The department of the British Government to which the Government of India reported between 1858 and 1947.
