Re. Exemption from Indian Income Tax Securities held
by Bahrain Government.
I have the honour to observe that you are acting as Bankers
for the Bahrain Government in respect of their holdings in
ce tif.icates have been issued to you at your request by this
circle from time to time. In this connection I have to request
you to olease forward to this office, at the close of each
financial year, a list containing details of the entire securities
held by your Bank on behalf of the Bahrain Government. This
list of securities should be signed by the'Chief Financial
authority of the Bahrain Government and forwarded to this office
through the
Political Resident
A senior ranking political representative (equivalent to a Consul General) from the diplomatic corps of the Government of India or one of its subordinate provincial governments, in charge of a Political Residency.
