Part 3 contains minutes and correspondence regarding the reconstruction of the Bushire - Shiraz and Borasjin [Borazjan, Iran] - Bundur Rig [Bandar Rig, Iran] telegraph lines, and the question of claiming the cost from the Persian Government.

The principal correspondents are the Persian Minister for Foreign Affairs, the Foreign Office, and the British Legation at Tehran.

The volume contains is a blueprint on folio 38, representing 'Map of the Telegraph Lines of the Indo-European Telegraph Dept and Connected Systems'.
