insist on Abdullah Au.jan (B.A.T. Company’s distributor in Bahrain)
handing over 22 % of monthly quota of five.million cigarettes
(t,he total monthly quota allowed by Government of India for
import which Imperial Tobacco Company had obtained in toto) for
distribution amongst other merchants in accordance with pi e—»^ui
proportion trade. B.A.T. Company protest against this on
grounds that some of their cigarettes would be placed in the
hands of merchants of whom they have no knowledge and that it
would be breach of an agreement with distributors.
