2. The Bahrain Government have received a number
of applications direct, apparently as the result of an
advertisement entered in the Pauj-i-Akhbar, but they inform
me that they would prefer to employ whoever may be recommended
as suitable for the appointment by the Government of India,
3. In the meantime the Bahrain Government are merely
acknowledging the receipt of such applications as reach them
direct, but if desired would forward them to the Government
of India so that they might be considered with other
applications.
