The applications relate to the importation of hardware including nails, water cisterns and lanterns from various suppliers in the United Kingdom and the United States.

The file also contains related correspondence between officials at the Political Agency An office of the East India Company and, later, of the British Raj, headed by an agent. and the Government of Bahrain Customs Department.
