the Persian Uulf, I am directed by Secretary Sir Austen
Chamberlain to inform you that the Lords Commissioners of
Pis Maj es cy s treasury have sanctioned the charge to Imperial
funds, for a period not exceeding three years from January 1st
19r7, of a moiety of the cost involved in the creation of the
proposed post, on the understanding that such moiety will not
exceed one hundred rupees Indian silver coin also widely used in the Persian Gulf. a month and that the post will not
he considered as a permanency.
