The map is the fifth in a series of five sketch maps illustrating Report on minor operations undertaken by the South Persia Rifles from the 28th March to the 25th July 1917 , Appendix No.3. Report on the action of the Kafta against the Kurshulli (ff 4-6).
The map shows a region to the south-west of Dehbid, Persia, and is a rough plan of operations, providing some indication of topography and relief, and the locations and movements of British forces and local tribes.
Signed by Major J P B Williams, Commanding Column, and published in October 1917 by the Simla Drawing Office – 'S.D.O. No. 2055, Oct. 1917.'.
