We have the honour to state that we have received an
enquiry from the Military Attache to the Nepalese Legation
for the supply of 50 Mark III Vickers-Berthier Suns.
It is, we understand, particularly desired by the
Nepalese G-overnment that these guns shall include certain
modifications which have been incorporated in guns supplied
to the India Forces by the Ishapore Factory An East India Company trading post. .
We shall be glad to be advised if we may be furnished
with particulars of these modifications with a view to their
incorporation in the guns supplied to the Nepalese Government
if the order ensures.

The file also contains correspondence from Keymer, Son & Co, who acted as agents in London for the Government of Nepal, and a small amount of correspondence with Vickers-Armstrongs Limited, regarding orders for modified Vickers-Berthier machine guns. A small number of export licence applications and certificates are found throughout the file, accompanied by materials manifests.
