2. We are sending you 10 copies of an up-to-
aate list of the members of the Development
Division and should be grateful if you would
pass a copy to the Colonial Office and to African
Department, Eastern Department, FoO.A.A.T. and
the Burnett Unit,. •
We are copying this letter to the Chanceries
at Amman, Bagdad, Cairo, Angora, Jedda, Tehran,
Addis Ababa, Washington, Beirut, Damascus, Tel Aviv
and Kabul; to the Secretariats, Government of Aden,
Government of Cyprus, Sudan Government; to the
Political Residency An office of the East India Company and, later, of the British Raj, established in the provinces and regions considered part of, or under the influence of, British India. , Persian Gulf The historical term used to describe the body of water between the Arabian Peninsula and Iran. ; to the Political
Agencies Kuwait, Bahrein^ Qatar (Deha); to the
Consulate at Muscat; to the Consulate-General,
Jerusalem; to the British Administrations Tripoli
