Dear Sir,
With reference to your letter No. GPH/2/2020, dated
the 23rd September 1938, I write to point out that the facts
stated in your letter are not entirely correct. The
consignment in question left Sharjah at noon on the 28th
August and presumably arrived at Karachi very early on the
morning of the 29th; at least early enough to allow of its
delivery the same day* It was not delivered on the 29th
August nor on the 30th but was taken to the Bristol Hotel on
the evening of the 31st August, the total time expended
between its departure from Sharjah and its delivery in
Karachi being three days, five and a half hours.
