vice, wasting, rust, mould, ordinary leakage and breakage, spontaneous combustion, or by inproper packing, sweat, rats or mice.
In the case of damage or theft and/or pilferage or any other loss immediate notice should be given
to the Agent of the Verein Hamburger Assecuradeure. Where there is no such Agent, application for survey
ought to be made to one of the Agents in the following succession: 1. Lloyds Agent, 2. Claim settling Agents
ot other Insurance Companies, 3. Persons who are qualified for this business on account of law or custom of
the place.
Consignees must take the necessary steps to protect all rights of recovery against the Carriers. They
should also carefully examine the report of Survey when received, to ensure their being in agreement with the
extent and cause of the damage as stated therein.
All claims presented must be accompanied by the report of Survey and by this Certificate of insurance.

Regular stock accounts are submitted to Bushire to keep the Residency An office of the East India Company and, later, of the British Raj, established in the provinces and regions considered part of, or under the influence of, British India. updated on the number and range of articles being held on its behalf.
