we lend our support to what may quite likely be

the Telegraph buildings and delivered a letter
from the Quarani ine officer at Basra to the

9. I was now accompanied by the Telegraph
naivhoda one Yasin but we failed to find Abdur
Hahim who had left a little be Tore Yasin in the
dinghy reached his objective.
10. Yfe then returned a short way upriver and
proceeded to a house N.of the Turkish fort v/hich
was said to overlook the land in dispute between
Sheikh ilobarah and the military authorities of
the Tao fort.This house belonged to Ahmed bin
Bisq^of ./horn mention has already been made in
the correspondence relating to Harba island^ and
