I travelled in “ Sphinx ” from Maskat to Jask on lst-2nd June with the
owner and Nakhoda of No. 7 dhow A term adopted by British officials to refer to local sailing vessels in the western Indian Ocean. (captured by “Pox” on 5th May 1914).
