I have the honour to transmit to you herewith
'£7 Syndicate Limited regarding their desire to conclude an

^ oil concession in the territories of the Shaikh of Bahrain
and the Shaikh of Kuv/ait and to inform you that provided
that the terms of any such concession follow the terms of
the draft agreement, of which a copy is enclosed herewith,
no objection need be raised on the part of His Lajesty’s
Government.
2. A further despatch will be addressed to you on
receipt of the Company’s views regarding the question of
amending Article 4 of the draft Mining lease.
