The file contains correspondence relating to the supply of items and material requested by the Persian Gulf The historical term used to describe the body of water between the Arabian Peninsula and Iran. Residency An office of the East India Company and, later, of the British Raj, established in the provinces and regions considered part of, or under the influence of, British India. , including: kerosene operated Electrolux refrigerators; one copy each of the Passport Control Manual, Consular Instructions, and Summary of Visa Regulations; and a safe for passports and consular stamps.

The correspondence is largely between Francis Anthony Kitchener Harrison, Political Department, India Office The department of the British Government to which the Government of India reported between 1858 and 1947. The successor to the Court of Directors. , and the following: Captain G I Pettigrew; the Ministry of Works; the India Store Department, Blackpool; the Persian Gulf The historical term used to describe the body of water between the Arabian Peninsula and Iran. Residency An office of the East India Company and, later, of the British Raj, established in the provinces and regions considered part of, or under the influence of, British India. ; and the Office of the High Commissioner for India.
