The map shows a plan prepared for the General Staff India, of the villages Chah-Haq and Mian Dasht which were the target of a ‘punitive attack’ by British military forces in April 1918. The map also gives the location of features such as old garden walls, ruins, graves tower, and the distances to nearby settlements.

The map lists the scale as '4 inches = 1 mile'.

The map was printed by the Simla Drawing Office, and includes a printing statement which reads ‘S. D. O. No. 2422, November 1918’
