In the course of last I received from
Hia Majesty*s Consul at Sistan a despatch reporting
a flagrant violation of the Baluchistan frontier
by the Keit-1-A*nleh at yTahedan.
Persian Government were as follows j-
Baluchistan robbers attacked a party of three
men between Sahedan and 7.abul t killed two of
them and escaped into British territory. They
were followed by Ssrdar Juma Khan the Keie-i-
Amnleh (Chief of koad Guards) at Eahedan (who
has since been transferred to "abul) with 15
Persian Levies, who, on reaching the British
post at Piran, requested the naik (Lance-
Corporal) in charge of the post to assist him
in tracing the criminals. This they agreed to,
and one of the men was soon captured. The
Reie-i-Amnieh then insisted that the man should
be handed over to him, and on meeting with a
refusal until the matter had at any rate been
referred to higher authority, threatened to use
