The reports cover affairs in the Persian [Iranian] province of Kerman, as well as in the towns of Kerman and the Persian Gulf The historical term used to describe the body of water between the Arabian Peninsula and Iran. port of Bandar Abbas [Bandar-e ʻAbbās]:
