With reference to India Office The department of the British Government to which the Government of India reported between 1858 and 1947. The successor to the Court of Directors. letter P.Z.1117/32
of March 7th last regarding the office allowance at
His Majesty’s Consulate at Kermanshah, I am directed by
Secretary Sir John Simon to state that, with the sanction
of His Majesty’s Treasury and subject to review by
December 31st 1932, an office allowance of thirty nine
thousand three hundred and forty five krans has been
assigned to this post including provision for the
continued payment until December 31st next, when a further
comparative statement of local prices will be furnished,
of the increased salaries for the subordinate staff
authorised last year.
2. I am to request that Secretary Sir Samuel Hcare
may be invited to accept a moiety of the above mentioned
office
allowance as a ch
