Please convey the following to Gee of Anglo-
Iranian Oil Co. Ltd. Begins:
Shaikh came to see me today and stated that his
Council had agreed to give you choice of (a) dealing
with new Company with YUSUF in the Company and (h)
deal with YUSUF as hefore provided he pays revised
royalty to Shaikh and a tax to the Company. Amount
of tax not yet fixed.
2. I told Shaikh that I could do no more than
inform you of fresh proposals.
3. Grateful for a message in reply to convey to
the Shaikh.
