allowance of H.M.Consul at Ahwaz,
I am directed hy the Secretary of
State for India to forward herewith
a copy of a letter from the Government
of India from which it will he
observed that the Government of India
have agreed to hear a moiety of the
expenditure involved hy the aro osal
to raise the local allowance of H.M.
Consul from £200 £ £300 per annum, in
the case of a married incumbent of
