Special Repairs to the Consulate
buildings at Kerman.
Reference correspondence ending with Express Letter
No. F. 204-1/38, dated the 2nd September, 1938, from the
Government of India in the External Affairs Department.
2. In view of the acute financial stringency, His Majesty^
Consul, Kerman, has agreed to postpone a portion of each
of the proposed works.
3. I accordingly forward Revised estimates in respect
of the portions of the works which His Majesty’s Consul
proposes to carry out in the ensuing year and request that
the Government of Inaia will be pleased to accord sanction
to the works being carried out at an estimated cost of
Rs. 1077/- (in round figures, Rs. 1100/-).
4. The necessary provision is being included in the
budget estimates for 1939-40.
