of 21st June last regarding the rent of furniture for
His Majesty’s Consulate at Birjand and for the Vice-Consul
and Medical Officer at Seistan, I am directed by Mr.
Secretary Henderson to state that the Lords Commissioners
of His Majesty's Treasury have sanctioned the charge to
Inperial funds of a moiety of the maintenance grant
proposed, on the understanding that the grant covers
renewals as well as maintenance.
