Collection of treatises and excerpts mostly by the Yemeni mathematician Jamāl al-Dīn Abū ‘Abd Allāh Muḥammad ibn Aḥmad ‘Umar al-Khuzā‘ī (جمال الدين أبو عبد الله محمد بن أحمد بن عمر الخزاعي, fl. 13th century, see King, 'A Medieval Arabic Report on Algebra Before al-Khwārizmī' and idem, Mathematical Astronomy in Medieval Yemen , appendix, no. 3) and related to algebra and inheritance calculations.

Contents:

• (1) al-Khuzā‘ī, Muḥammad ibn Aḥmad (الخزاعي، محمد بن أحمد), Sharḥ al-mukhtaṣar fī al-jabr wa-al-muqābalah (شرح المختصر في الجبر والمقابلة; ff. 1r-124v);
