maintenance of both cemeteries should be made in the first
instance by the Commission, to whom, presumebly, accounts
will ba rendered by His Majesty's Lection nt Tehran, recovery
of « moiety being made by Indian revenues through this office;
nd if so, whether they will isrue instructions to the
Political Resident A senior ranking political representative (equivalent to a Consul General) from the diplomatic corps of the Government of India or one of its subordinate provincial governments, in charge of a Political Residency. in the Persian Gulf The historical term used to describe the body of water between the Arabian Peninsula and Iran. to cease charging the
expenditure in the first instance to the Government of India
as fr on the date on which the new procedure is introduced.
This date will be arranged with His Majesty's Government and
notified to the Resident through the Legation at Tehran. A
suitable date might be the 1st October, 1937.
