General of the Sudan, unless Mr Belgrade has any tiling
farther to urge on the subject, the hon’bie the Political
Resident is disposed to think that it i» not worth while
pursuing the matter further. He would however be glad
to know your views regarding the possibility of recruiting
gradually local men for the police force and substituting
them for Indians.
