I am instructing Officer Commanding, Kerman Brigade, to reduce Levies
on Baft-Daulatabad Eoad from 180 to 100 at the end of September, as I do not
feel justified in continuing such heavy expenditure. Hope you will be able
to arrange for Persian post to be organised (?) and Sirjan as quickly as possible
to enable to balance of Levies to be dismissed ?
