I refer to your letter of 18th November, about the
emoluments of Lajor Tandy, Political Agent A mid-ranking political representative (equivalent to a Consul) from the diplomatic corps of the Government of India or one of its subordinate provincial governments, in charge of a Political Agency. at Koweit.
We can agree that Major Tandy should be paid a dearness
allowance of Rupees Indian silver coin also widely used in the Persian Gulf. 150 per month in addition to his present
emoluments with effect from August 16th, provided that the
Government of Pakistan have also sanctioned the revised rates
of dearness allowance "which have been put into operation by the
Government of India from this date.
